Ananda began yoga from an old yoga video and simply did yoga at home for six months learning the classical sun salutations. This eventually brought him to his first yoga studio class. After feeling the transformative and healing effects of yoga, he enrolled in teacher training to deepen his practice. Ever since, he has been a dedicated practitioner of not only yoga asanas (the physical practice of yoga), but he is also a devote practitioner of Bhakti Yoga (devotional yoga).
Ananda teaches powerful flows with creative and funky transitions. He focuses on breath-to-movement in order to cultivate a moving meditation. Off the mat, you can find him taking yoga classes with his daughter, hiking, studying at Hindu temples, and finding new vegan restaurants!
