For Taylor, yoga is an opportunity to find and return to herself. She came to the practice in 2010 after recovering from a spinal fusion surgery undertaken to treat severe scoliosis. Because of her background, she understands that all bodies are unique, and teaches from the foundation that everyone has the ability to practice.
Taylor’s goal is to create space that allows for introspection, exploration, and empowerment. Mindfulness is a key component of her teaching, and she works to offer tools that can be used inside and outside of the studio in order to ease busy minds, manage stress, and regulate the nervous system. To that aim, she often incorporates the use of breath work, meditation, essential oils, and massage-y assists into her classes.
