Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice that uses deep stretching to release stress and tension in muscles, fascia (connective tissue), tendons and ligaments by holding poses (asanas) for as long as 2-5 minutes. Restorative yoga is a soothing practice in which your body is supported to promote relaxation and to bring the nervous system to a state of healing. By using a combination of these practices, during this class you will be on the floor in a series of poses (asanas) to release the tension in your body and mind.
