Shay started practicing yoga in the early 2000’s to help her cope with the stressors of graduate school. She soon came to love the practice and the people (yoga community). As a devout student, she didn’t think to sign up for a teacher training until several years later. Eventually, Shay completed her 200 and 300 hour teacher trainings through YogaWorks, and has been teaching yoga since 2010. She’s humbled and grateful for all the teachers that have come before her, and for her incredible students. Shay’s classes have been described as fun, thoughtful, and challenging.
