This class is a slower paced class with students being led through intentional sequences to not only stretch and lengthen muscles, but also to release tension and calm the nervous system. You will practice breathing techniques, while transitioning from one pose to another, mostly on the floor. While this class will not challenge your strength or physical endurance, it is good for all students from beginners to advanced to open, maintain flexibility and muscle recovery. It is not mandatory to move on from this class - some students will keep a gentle practice, while others will compliment their rigorous practice with a gentle class.
